Steps on how to properly maintain and keep your hookah in mint condition. |
Please remove the Ceramic Bowl and Hookah Tray from the top portion of your Hookah. Be sure to remove the Bowl Grommet from the shaft as well. |
Next, remove the Hookah Hose from the shaft by pulling out the Hose in a clockwise motion. Be sure to remove the Hose Grommet from the shaft as well. |
Now with one hand on the vase and the other on the shaft, separate them by pulling up on the shaft in a clockwise motion. Be sure to remove the Vase Grommet from the shaft as well. Once the shaft is removed from the vase, it is now time to clean and maintain your Hookah. |
Take the Ceramic Bowl and discard of the Flavored Shisha used during your last smoking session. |

Next, gather your Cleaning Brushes, SouthSmoke.com approved Hookah Cleaning Solution, and a towel to finish the cleaning process. Remember not to use any type of soap when cleaning your Hookah. |
Now, shake the Hookah Cleaning Solution, and dispense a small amount of the solution into the Shaft, making sure that the bottom opening of the shaft is closed off with your finger. This will allow for any buildup and Shisha particles to be loosened for proper cleaning. |
Close off the bottom and top openings of the Shaft and then shake the Shaft in your hands for up to 30 seconds to distribute the solution evenly. |
Using the Cleaning Brushes provided with your Hookah, take one Cleaning Brush and insert it into the top opening of the Shaft, rotating the brush in a clockwise fashion. |
Using warm water, rise the Shaft thoroughly. |
Repeat the same cleaning process for the Vase, Hookah Hose, and Ceramic Bowl. Only use warm water when cleaning the Rubber Grommets. |
Finally, dry off each piece of the Hookah using a towel and then reassemble the Hookah for storing or display purposes. |
