The Scene
Relaxing music and the smell of fruit-flavored tobacco waft out onto the sidewalk of South Water Street in Kent. On a Friday at midnight, the Firefly Lounge is quiet and welcoming compared to its noisy neighboring bars. The newly opened hookah bar has a noticeable buzz, as it is nearly filled to capacity.Guests lounge on plush couches or pillows on the floor and smoke flavored tobacco. The most noticeable part of walking into the lounge for the first time, said part-owner Tony Lahood, is its unique atmosphere.
The Scene
Firefly Lounge plays mostly acoustic-based music, such as Dave Matthews Band, OAR, Modest Mouse and Guster, along with what Lahood considers different music such as early Blink-182, Green Day and Frank Sinatra.

Great atmosphere, and service at a Hookah bar Reviewed on 3/25/2010
I went and had great service, but seemed to have a hard time finding a flavor I actually liked that wasn't too terribly harsh. This is more than likely due to the fact that they carry almost exclusively Hookah-Hookah, which isn't really my brand of choice (I'm a loyal Starbuzz lover). But the staff was incredibly helpful and courteous. Pros: Service, location, and atmosphere
