The Specs Tired of the same dining choices and craving something exciting and different. Athar brings an exquisite fusion of contemporary American and Ancient Middle Eastern/Lebanese food to Chicago's west suburbs. Choose from Kabobs, Lamb Chops, and fresh Seafood. There is also a variety of vegetarian dishes that are sure to please. Whether it's an intimate meal in an elegant setting or a relaxing drink with good friends, you'll find it all here.

What to Drink
Try the Cairo at Night, a concoction of Stoli raspberry and Chambord, or the Lebanese Lemon Drop, flavored with Ketel One Citroen vodka, sour mix and triple sec.
Where to Sit
On a nice night make sure to request a seat on the large outdoor patio. Both liquor and hookah are available out there.
When to Go
Be sure to stop in, either Tuesday or Wednesday, between 4pm and 6pm for half-price appetizers.
